Our Tools

We use the traditional tools of our trade along with a few state-of-the-art ones, like the Biesse [bee ESS ee] Rover A3 Router. The aptly-named Rover, goes over and around a piece of wood, making precision cuts that would challenge the highest-skilled carpenters. One can say that this machine "machines" a piece of wood into any shape or design imaginable.

Above is a photo of the business-end of the Rover A3. Note the numerous cutting heads and cutting head styles clustered together; each one is called upon to do its job when programmed. Very precisely, very perfectly.

The photo on the right is a door panel being routed. All the chips and sawdust are sucked up by its huge overhead vacuum system which is surprisingly quiet. The Routing itself is surprisingly quiet. But its precision is really no surprise at all.

We can't really say that "someday, all routers will work like this one" since this one is so large. It's table can handle up to 12' sheets of wood and has a vacuum-assisted turntable to make sure each panel is absolutely flat when the cuts are performed.

This tool exemplifies to what lengths we will go to deliver the absolute highest quality for our customers.

We also offer the services of this unique, computer-controlled precision router to other cabinetmakers who want to deliver the same absolute quality for their customers. Contact us to find out what we can do for you or to just see a demonstration of routing perfection.

Note the computerized control center on the left. There is no need for a stool since tasks are set-up and performed quickly with this machine. Plus, there are non-computerized controls as you see demonstrated here.
